I don’t know. I really don’t know.

First thoughts after one listen:

• They REALLY mixed her voice down. It sounds super polished and studio-like, which I think takes away from Florence’s natural voice.
• Not sure how I feel about how commercial it is; this thing is gonna get massive airplay
• It feels vaguely African-like to me…which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
• It’s also pure pop. Pure, unadulterated pop. With Paul Epworth’s track record, this isn’t surprising.

Okay, that’s reaction one. Gonna go listen to it 8 million times more in my good headphones.
